Application

How should I use essential oils?

1. Inhalation

There are different methods to inhale essential oils. The most convenient way is to evaporate them in an ultrasonic diffuser by putting 7 to 15 drops of your favorite essential oil in the diffuser and adding water if the diffuser requires it. This provides a pleasant and fresh atmosphere in your room or even the entire house. Another way is hand inhalation, for which you put one drop of oil on your left hand and rub it with circular motions of your right hand three times clockwise, then fold your hands in front of your nose and inhale for one minute. You may also try the traditional inhalation method using a water bath. Add 2 to 3 drops of essential oil to the water (hot but not boiling) and then inhale with your head right over the pot covered by a towel. Alternatively, you can directly inhale out of the opening of a tea pot!

Recommended oils for diffusing in rooms: Purification, Thieves, Lemon-Myrtle, Peace & Calming

Recommended oils for hand inhalation: Lemon, Peppermint, Cedarwood, Joy

Recommended oils for water baths: Eucalyptus, R.C.

2. Application on Chakras and places of Pulse

Put 1 to 2 drops of your favorite essential oil on your left hand and activate it energetically by rubbing it three times clockwise with the right hand. Now apply the oil to places where the pulse is traceable – on the wrists, behind the ears, behind the knees or on the chakras. Rubbing essential oils on the sole of the foot have an invigorating effect on the entire body. If you have the feeling that a specific point or part of the body needs a certain oil follow your intuition.

Recommended oils: You can apply all oils that are compatible with your skin as needed.

Oils that should be applied diluted (for example with high quality vegetable oil or V6 from Young Living): Clove, Cinnamon Bark, Thyme and Oregano, as well as oil blends like that consist of these oils, e.g. Thieves.

3. Reflexology

Due to their molecular structure, essential oils can easily pass the cell membranes, and are ideal for using on reflex points of hands and feet. Apply 1 to 2 drops of the desired oil directly on the reflex point using the VitaFlex technique.

4. Massage

For relaxation of the whole body, use 6-18 drops of an essential oil and dilute it with a high quality massage oil like V-6 Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex, Ortho Ease Massage Oil, Ortho Sport Massage Oil, Cel-Lite Magic Massage Oil or Relaxation Massage Oil.

Recommended oils: Valor, PanAway, and all oils of the Raindrop Kit.

5. Supporting muscles, tendons, joints and bones

Apply 3 to 4 drops of an essential oil topically on the affected area. Apply once a day, ideally before going to bed, so that the oils can unfold their full effect over night.

Recommended oils: Valor, PanAway, Relieve It, Deep Relief, Helychrysum, Ortho Sport and Ortho Ease Massage oil.

6. Bathing

To fully experience the vibration of an essential oil in the physical and energetic body, use 5 to 15 drops of the desired oil and mix it with bath salt, cream or milk as emulsifier.

Recommended oils: Valor, Lavender, Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Eucalyptus.

7. Supporting a good and healthy sleep

For a good, restorative sleep, rub 2 to 3 drops of essential oil on the soles of your feet, behind the ears and on the neck. Putting a few drops on a piece of clothing and placing it next to your pillow can deepen your sleep even further.

Recommended oils: Lavender, Frankincense, Valor, Peace & Calming.
