Dewy spring feelings for your skin

Essential oils can work wonders on your skin. There are hundreds of different essential oils to choose from. They smooth out your wrinkles, are excellent for cleansing the skin and are good at supporting scars and scratches…

The key to a great result with essential oils in skin care is the right application. Mix a few drops into your skin cream, into your moisturizer, a skin oil such as jojoba, coconut or argan oil. The main caring essential oils ensure that you feel and look good. Off into spring!

1.Patchouli

Is an essential oil great for hair and skin care, a new emotional setup and seductive fragrance creations. Patchouli is distilled from the leaves and flowers of the patchouli plant. This earthy-floral oil is often used in perfumes as a top note. Mix it with rose and ylang ylang for a warm yet fresh fragrance.

Did you know that the silk merchants from China put dried patchouli leaves in between their silk goods on their long journeys? This prevented the moths from laying their eggs inside…

The essential oil of PAtchouli has been helping us humans for many centuries to calm us down, ground us and find our inner centre as a pole of strength. Not for nothing was Patchouli the fragrance of the wild 60s.

Add a few drops of patchouli to your daily skin care. You will see how quickly your skin will regenerate, rejuvenate and refine.

2. Carrot Seeds

Need a refreshment? Just mix carrot seeds in a spray bottle with water with grapefruit and lemon. Spray it on your face for extra moisture!

The essential oil of carrot seeds is distilled from the seeds of wild carrots – a different plant from those whose roots we eat.

The carrot seed oil helps you align your third eye with your root chakra, which helps you develop vision for the future.

Do you feel enslaved, destroyed or do you suffer from the consequences of negative actions? Then the carrot seed is exactly your oil. For only when you have let go of these emotions can you perceive the fullness and comprehensive nature of the Creator. The essential oil of the carrot seed also supports you in grounding and rooting yourself in Mother Earth. She teaches you to honor and appreciate life so that you can live a round and full life.

3. Sage

The fragrance of sage brings you a fresh breeze and energy, it strengthens the vital centres of your body and cleanses you on all levels. Especially when it comes to habits and patterns that are not for your own good, the essential oil of sage can do you good.

I love to put a few drops of sage in my shampoo. Add a few drops of sage to your pulse points and experience a whole new perspective on life. Distilled from the leaves and flowers of the plant for a clean scent. Use a few drops in a pillow spray and enjoy a quieter night.

Did you know that the name “sage” comes from the Latin “salvia”, which means to heal? Sage has long been used to accompany meditations, rituals and trance journeys, it helps us to surrender to the wisdom of our ancestors and to purify us from those beliefs and habits that no longer serve us.

4. Tea tree

Tea tree oil is one of the most popular essential oils of today. Due to its skin caring properties it is contained in many skin care and beauty products.

Pamper your skin with a steam facial. Put a few drops of invigorating Tea Tree Oil in a bowl of steaming water, place a towel over your head and inhale. Lean back and relax!

Did you know that tea trees grow all over the world? When people think of Tea Tree, most people think of Australia, but the tree also grows in Guatemala, France, China and the USA.

Many companies don’t write exactly which of the hundreds of varieties of tea tree has been diffused for its essential oil – this creates a lot of confusion and misunderstandings about its effects. Furthermore, tea tree oil is the most frequently adulterated essential oil, along with lavender, frankincense, rose and eucalyptus.

5. Peppermint

Peppermint is one of the most popular of all essential oils – with an incredible variety of applications. I love to use peppermint for more clarity in the head and an energizing freshness and coolness in the whole body.

Did you know that the name “peppermint” comes from the Latin “mente”, which means “thoughts”? In Greek mythology, there is the story of the nymph Mentha. Pluto desired Mentha, and so she was trampled by his wife Persephone. Pluto then transformed her into a wonderfully fragrant herb, peppermint!

Bring home the spa glow with peppermint. Dilute it with Young Living V-6® for an invigorating massage, enjoy a cooling, refreshing neck massage, or take a sip of energy with a drop of peppermint+ in a liter of water.

6. Grapefruit

Start the day fresh with grapefruit oil. Grapefruit has a caring and cleansing effect on the skin. So perfect to put a few drops of grapefruit in your body butter and cream or body oil.

Ointment with this moisturizing mixture from head to toe. Or create your refreshing, cleansing good mood peeling with a sugar or salt peeling in which you add a few drops of grapefruit.

Grapefruit is also very special for bad smells – smells that like to get stuck in your nose like rotten potatoes, mouldy food or toilet smells. Take a deep breath of grapefruit to wipe the bad smell from your nose, or make a grapefruit refreshment spray by mixing a few drops of grapefruit with some water in a spray bottle and spray the affected room air fresh again.

7. Charcoal Bar Soap

Experience cleanliness on a whole new level with the vegan charcoal soap made of activated carbon and orange blossom oil. The activated charcoal removes toxins and dirt and leaves the skin radiantly clean. You can use it to clean and care for your entire body and face.

You can complement the Charcoal Bar Soap with Orange Blossom Facial Wash, Orange Blossom Moisturizer, Lavender Hand & Body Lotion and Tea Tree Oil.

I wish you a fresh start into May,

Love,
