Everybody knows, that peels and scrubs are a good way of caring for your skin. Everybody knows that they probably should be using them. But now you are one of the very few people who actually know how to create their perfect match.
WHY ARE BODY SCRUBS SO IMPORTANT FOR A HEALTHY, RADIANT SKIN?
About 90% of the dust which appears regularly in your living space are dead skin cells. And NO! This is no typo! . . . So, now that you’re a tad bit unsettled, let’s talk about why exfoliating is essential for your skin.
We all want smooth and soft skin – who wouldn’t? Especially in the warm seasons when you show more skin. Or when you fall in love and you want to seduce your lover or spouse with your silky skin.
How to use your scrub
Rub your scrub with gentle, loving movements; in a circular motion on your skin. Afterwards, rinse with warm water. You will soon see, that it’s not going to take long until your skin will start to feel better; look more radiant; and will simply be healthier.
How to make your own scrub
It’s very easy to make your own body scrub. Popular ingredients are: sugar, salt, honey, coconut oil, olive oil, Shea butter, coffee grounds, and essential oil. They all help to cleanse and nurture your skin.
Basic Recipe:
Mix brown sugar with olive or coconut oil (1:2 => 1 cup sugar, 2 cups coconut oil) . Mix with 5 to 10 drops essential oil and store in an airtight jar.
You can substitute sugar with epsom salt or coffee grounds. Play with the measurements, until you have exactly the density you like. It should neither be too thick nor too thin. Play around and have fun! You can’t go wrong. *Also note, it’s a process in finding the right consistency—best suited for your skin.
