    Dalmatia Bay Laurel

Has a fresh, sweet, refreshing aroma with a rich and woody touch of eucalyptol.

The essential oil of laurel is traditionally used for protection and cleansing. This oil has been used since ancient Greece and Rome.

Did you know that the ancient Greeks and Romans believed that the laurel tree had prophetic and divining powers? Yes, and when they sought shelter under the tree, they were divinely protected by thunder and lightning storms!

Spiritually speaking, in the Middle Ages the laurel or laurel tree was often planted in front of a house to protect and promote success. It is symbolic of victory and brings back memories of the Olympic athletes and the ancient Romans who wore it as a wreath on the crown of their heads.

The essential oil of laurel sharpens your consciousness and perception, it strengthens your intuitive, clairvoyant and clairaudient abilities. When your mind is relaxed, you will be able to receive messages better and strengthen your confidence in the process.

Laurel oil integrates the emotional and mental bodies, which helps to release blockages and to release your fear of personal power. Every person is powerful, infinitely strong and great. Release your fear of your own greatness and strength!

Those who wish to open or expand their creative side will enjoy using this oil in their work and during meditation. Laurel oil integrates the emotional and metal bodies.

    • Add some Dalmatia Bay Laurel to shampoos, lotions or skin creams to maintain healthy scalp and skin.
    • Use it with Marjoram or Ortho Sport Massage Oil and apply it to the skin or use it for a foot massage.
    • Nebulize it with lemon, tangerine and peppermint to create an environment that inspires and energizes.

    Dalmatia Juniper

Has a fresh, gentle, subtle, earthy and earthy aroma. The essential juniper oil is a powerful cleanser, detoxifier and purifier of the auric field. Juniper supports a healthy skin and improves the appearance of a healthy looking skin.

The sweet, tart scent of juniper has an uplifting effect on the mind and creates a feeling of peace.

This oil helps you release thoughts of oppression, insecurity and anger. These negative thoughts keep you from aligning with your mind and developing a deeper divine consciousness.

As your chakras align with the divine within you, you also align and connect with your soul group. This creates protection and security on a very deep level for your soul. And allows you to move forward with a feeling of support and love from the Source.

    • Nebulize it alone or with the other oils of this collection and enjoy the uplifting aroma.
    • Mix it with Young Living V-6® Enhanced Vegetable Oil Complex and use it as an evening toner.
    • Add it to DiGize, peppermint, or ginger and apply to the skin. It is especially good as an aromatic refreshment after a meal.

    Dalmatia Sage

Has a rich, spicy and clarifying aroma when fogged
will. The essential oil of sage can help and cheer up in cases of mental exhaustion. It is known for its ability to strengthen the senses and vital centers of the body.

I like to use sage oil in shampoos. Or to literally “cleanse” the air or a workspace, as the Native Americans did when they burned sage sticks to prepare for spiritual ceremonies.

Sage has been used for thousands of years to induce states of trance and increase spiritual awareness. It can help you purify and purify your life patterns, especially where you are fighting yourself.

During this process you surrender to the spirit and allow the wisdom of the elders, which is also dormant within you, to support you on your path and change your beliefs when they no longer serve you. Sage oil also offers you protection and the security you need to allow this process to unfold.

    • Nebulize it during meditation to create a feeling of clarity.
      and strengthen your spiritual practice.
    • Apply it together with Ortho Ease massage oil directly to the skin and enjoy a relaxing, grounding massage.
    • Add a drop to your favorite Young Living skin care products for a clearing, refreshing fragrance.

I wish you a fragrant week with the sun of Croatia,

  • The 9 super powers of essential vetiver oil

The 9 super powers of essential vetiver oil

When it’s time to relax after a long day, when it’s time to get down to work on a project, it’s time for vetiver.

The essential oil of vetiver connects you with Mother Earth and her power. It has a very earthy and earthy scent. When I close my eyes and inhale vetiver, I see myself walking through a mountain forest, in autumn, in the air the scent of the forest, the autumn sun, the mountains and the last warmth of the year on my skin… what does vetiver remind you of?

Do you know the feeling of being “shaky” and “shaky” inside? Every little thing throws you off balance, ignites fears or makes you feel hot-tempered? On the emotional level, the scent of vetiver is very grounding and soothing. It can help you get away from excitement and stress.

How to use: Create your personal “Strength Perfume” by applying a drop of vetiver to the wrists and behind the ears. In this way, not only will the delicious vetiver fragrance accompany you all day long, but it will also help you stay in your center.

Do you know that your children sweep through the world like detached bullies, losing their own center and getting completely out of hand? Vetiver is one of the essential oils with the highest content of sesquiterpenes. That is why Dr. Terry Friedmann has extensively investigated the extent to which its fragrance can have a positive effect on the behavior of children.

How to use: Rub 1-2 drops of vetiver between your hands until both your hands and the oil are nice and warm (for children under 8 years of age, add some V6 or other vegetable oil to dilute). Then hold and gently massage the soles of your feet. If the child wants it, you can also put some of the oil in his hands so he can smell it whenever he feels like it.

This year Young Living’s Christmas catalog again features great offers on diffuser bracelets and necklaces for children, so the fragrance can accompany them all day long.

Do you know the feeling when you feel the joy of movement in every cell, and you are so full of the joy of movement that today you run a kilometer further than usual, lift a few kilos more than usual or swim a few extra laps? … and then: oh dear. The limbs, joints – yes, the whole body becomes stiff and uncomfortable in the following hours? Vetiver is included in two of my favorite massage oils: Ortho Ease and Ortho Sport. It can be really beneficial for tired muscles and minds after sports.

How to use: After exercise, warm up some massage oil in a water bath (or alternatively simply use it directly from the bottle), add a few drops of vetiver and massage the strained muscles with it.

Do you know the feeling when you are so nervous that you can hardly sit still? When you can’t find your inner peace? And you just can’t find peace of mind? The essential oil of vetiver has a sweet-woody scent and is not only suitable for external use, but also especially for the diffuser. Vetiver gives a room a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Vetiver is a threshold and protective oil that has been popular since ancient times not only in medicine and energetics, but also as a perfume note. So be confidently creative when it comes to mixing your own fragrance creations, with vetiver as the base note 🙂

The applications for vetiver are very versatile. From the ideal grounding scent in a relaxing massage to the ideal spicy note in soaps, perfumes and skin care products. Read on to learn more about vetiver – and if you need a break in between for a vetiver hand massage, I can understand that very well 🙂

    1.The power of the earth

The vetiver plant is a hardy grass originating from the tropical parts of Asia and Central America. Young Living sources its vetiver oil from Haiti and Ecuador. It is a fragrant grass with long stems and flowers.

However, the essential oil is extracted from the root of the plant. The roots of vetiver grass can grow over 3 meters long. Their deep, well-connected roots help the plant survive drought and erosion unscathed. The main components of the essential oil of vetiver are Alpha Vetivone, Benzoic Acid, Beta Vetivone, Furfurol, Vetiverol, Vetivene, and Vetivenyl Vetivenate.

If you are interested in the secrets of these individual components, just type them into your browser and see what you can find 🙂

Have you ever felt that after a negative experience you needed days, maybe even weeks to recover? Do you know the experience that when you go out into nature after a negative experience, you miraculously get better after a while? Vetiver can also do this with and for you: help you to recover and find your way back to your center.

Vetiver connects you with the power of the earth.

Application tip: To come down, before bedtime, to get back into your center and strength:

    • let a drop of vetiver drip onto your left hand, rub it 3 times right with your right hand,
    • fold your hands and lead them to your nose
    • take 2-3 minutes, inhale the fragrance by breathing in and out deeply
    • then let your hands sink into your lap and feel inside you for a few more breaths. How do you feel now?

    2. Genie in the bottle

The essential oil of vetiver is obtained by steam distillation from the root. The scent of the essential oil is slightly sweet and earthy. From 50 kg of the roots you get about 1 kg essential oil

The scent of vetiver has a grounding, calming and balancing effect on our minds. It brings you back into harmony with Mother Earth, vetiver connects you with the energy of the nourishing earth. The earth from which everything is born and to which one day everything returns.

In this way it connects us with nature, the spirits and beings of the forest and the earth.

For many, vetiver is one of the essential oils for transformation and strengthening through the energy of the earth. Vetiver reminds us that life is cyclical and the more gracefully we go along with the cycles of life, the easier and more joyful our journey will be. It is time to be kind, loving and nurturing with yourself.

How to use: Open your vetiver bottle and take a deep nose of vetiver scent. Close your eyes if you like. Listen into the silence, listen to the fragrance. What is your impulse/image/feeling/thought/… Really pay attention to the very first impulse, the one that comes before your mind joins in.

    3. For the people

The woody, earthy, warm aroma of vetiver oil has been highly appreciated around the world for decades. One of the most popular uses of vetiver fragrance is in soaps and colognes for men. You can create a personalized fragrance by using some vetiver oil as a base note.

“Use me to connect with Mother Earth when life becomes bumpy and difficult. Even during transitions and after experiences that have shaken you to your core, I can give you stability and support again.” This is the message of Vetiver for you.

How to use: Wrap yourself in vetiver

    • take a bowl of V6 or another vegetable oil suitable for massage,
    • heat the oil in a water bath to about 39-40 degrees,
    • add 5-10 drops of vetiver,
    • massage yourself with it from head to toe or even better: let yourself be rubbed and massaged with it from head to toe.

    4. Unique scent

Let the complex and uplifting scent of vetiver calm your mind so you can better focus on the tasks that require your full attention. It is a perfect essential oil for learning, difficult tasks and work instructions, or just for reading a long, exciting book. The scent of vetiver creates a relaxing atmosphere where distractions lose their power.

How to use: Put 5-10 drops in your diffuser and place it next to you so that its fragrance can envelop you nicely…

    5. Thick like honey

Vetiver is also known for its viscosity. Sometimes it is a real test of patience until the drop finally comes out of the bottle! But patience is a virtue that is very worthwhile in this case. Because the essential oil is so viscous, it is a good idea to mix it with a carrier oil such as V-6 or another vegetable oil for massages.

How to use: Because of its “heavy” substance, vetiver is in fragrance that lingers very long on your skin. So use it as a perfume that will accompany you all day long!

    6. Soft touch – the magical bathtub

Would you like to take a real bath in vetiver? This is especially a good idea if you are very nervous, exhausted and separated from your own inner strength.

How to use: Relax from head to toe by taking 15 – 20 drops of vetiver with you in the bathtub. Mix the essential oil with some emulsifier such as honey, milk or salt before you put it in the water. If you want to light a few candles and put on your favorite relaxing music – well, that’s between you and vetiver.

    7. On Your Body

Do you have the urgent feeling that you need a vacation, rest and relaxation? Do you still have all those unused foot and hand massage coupons in your closet, which your loved one gave you for Valentine’s Day? Combined with a few drops of vetiver you will definitely not regret redeeming them now 🙂

How to use: Combine a few drops of vetiver with some V-6 to create a really deep relaxing, grounding massage.

    8. On your skin

The essential oil of vetiver is rich in substances that are pleasant for the care of scars and other subjects of healthy skin. They also support the growth of healthy tissue, so old, damaged tissue can be renewed. This is very helpful not only for the care of stretch marks after pregnancy, after heavy weight loss and traces of smallpox and burns. So get creative and find ways to incorporate vetiver into your daily skin care routine.

    9. At home

Create a mix that will bring relaxation and peace to your entire family. With 3 drops of vetiver, 5 drops of lavender and 2 drops of ylang ylang in your diffuser you create the perfect atmosphere for a relaxing, restful evening. Whether it’s a stimulating game round, relaxing reading, or if you just want a more relaxed atmosphere for homework.

I really hope you found some new inspiration about vetiver here. Believe me, it is worth trying them out!

  • Highest Potential

    Highest Potential

The access to one’s own intuition, the blossoming of one’s own potential are gifts, as we have all naturally noticed. But as it is with some things, we often lose access to them in the process of becoming adults. Things like creativity, playing, imagination, intuition, etc. are the gifts that are given to us to develop and live our highest potential.

    What is intuition?

This is about connection, about connecting with yourself. And when you have come into connection with yourself, with your innermost self, then you need the courage to trust and follow what you feel within yourself.

What about your trust in yourself? Can you feel yourself? Are you connected with your intuition? Can you listen to it?

When I first smelled the scent of Highest Potential essential oil, I could really physically feel my mind and brain relaxing. It had a very strong effect on me – and still does today.

To this day I still like to use Highest Potential for work, before big performances, but also for meditation and my yoga practice. In my inner practice, I found that it allowed me to reach a meditative state and a feeling of expansion, within a much faster time frame than usual. In fact, I am often there with the Highest Potential Essential Oil within a few breaths.

    Application Tips:
How do I apply Highest Potential for my inner practice?

    1. I let it run in the diffuser,
    2. inhale on the bottle or my real favorite application is
    3. before I start my practice, rub a drop of Highest Potential in my hands, visualize my intention for the following practice and inhale Highest Potential with deep breaths for a few minutes.
There are many essential oils that I use for mediation, but this mixture is still one of my favorites today.

    Highest Potential:

    • connects you with your own infinite wisdom
    • contains the essential oil blend “Gathering” – this is a blend that realigns your chakras and energy, which in turn helps you release those blockages that prevent you from connecting with yourself.
    • contains the essential oil blend “Australian Blue”, which is incredibly good for grounding. Grounding is very important for all of us who live in this modern, artificial world.
Especially for intuitive processes – because there you want to stay with one leg in your subconscious, with the other in your consciousness – you want to create the bridge between subconscious and consciousness, so that the wisdom and knowledge that rests hidden in your subconscious can come into consciousness.
    • contains two other essential oils, ylang ylang and jasmine, both of which:
    • open the heart to trust and believe in yourself
    • helps us to connect with the inner child who knows how to use intuition in a natural way
    • helps you to put yourself in the state of mind needed to connect with your intuitive self.

    Anwendungs Tip:

Put a drop of Highest Potential on your left hand. With your right hand, rub it 3 times clockwise and fold your hands in front of your nose. Breathe deeply in and out and just be there. Listen inside yourself what wants to come out, what is alive inside you right now.

Then spread the rest on the back of your neck and forehead.

“Highest Potential is an exotic oil blend that can help you to increase your competence and develop your highest potential.”

This oil combines the uplifting and inspiring qualities of Australian Blue with the power of Gathering to focus on the essentials and concentrate your own energies.

The jasmine, which is also included, helps to strengthen self-confidence and Ylang Ylang soothes, calms and harmonizes.

Highest Potential is a very interesting and versatile oil, it consists of 16 individual oils! Incredible, isn’t it? …how a flower meadow or a paradisiacal garden may smell…

Highest Potential contains some spiritual oils from the Bible such as incense, galbanum and sandalwood. These oils help you to connect with the Divine within you and to realize your true potential, and perhaps your true purpose here on earth. They help you to come into your power and to realize your goals and dreams.

    Trust in your life…

Highest Potential can help you to trust yourself and your life more, to release restrictive belief patterns and to focus on your strengths and your potential and not always only on your weaknesses and mistakes.

I like to use the scent of Highest Potential when I’m really angry, no longer want to actively participate in life and fall into a kind of apathy, to balance my chakras, for fears (especially those nasty ones from my childhood), to strengthen my self-confidence, to daydream when my depressed mood haunts me, for more focus and just to increase my general well-being.

When and how do you prefer to use Highest Potential?

The scent of Highest Potential has a wonderfully calming effect on the mind, while at the same time it is uplifting and liberating. Highest Potential can help you to let go of feelings of annoyance or upset and to come back to your senses.

Highest Potential not only helps you to let go of these negative emotions, but also to bring out the positive feelings of forgiveness, self-esteem and love, so that you can recognize and live your true potential.

Now I wish you a wonderful, calm and relaxed week, much joy and success,

  • Gary’s Great Day Protocol

    Gary’s Great Day Protocol

Have you ever woken up with a feeling of unstoppable lust for life and energy? Or do you know someone who radiates this energy and self-confidence early in the morning?

Whether you are a morning person or not. There is no doubt that the first moments of the day determine the coming day.

By using essential oils in your morning routine, you can positively influence your intentions and thus the whole day. You strengthen your self-confidence, your energy and lust for life and you start the day from a position of power. By applying certain essential oils in a specific way, you can help yourself cultivate the right mindset to manifest your dreams and goals.

This is exactly why D. Gary Young, Young Living Founder, developed a morning routine with essential oils that will help you get into your strength and joy of living:

“Gary’s Great Day Protocol,” or “Gary’s Protocol for a Great Day.”

Gary is known for his vision and for creating the seemingly impossible things. There was no goal that was impossible for Gary to achieve.

The four uplifting essential oil blends from Gary’s protocol for a great day support exactly this attitude. If you use these four oils together you will have a powerful start into a day (and of course you will smell incredibly good)…

Through daily rituals and time spent nurturing your inner self, you strengthen your inner strength and optimism needed to realize your biggest dreams and live the day to its full potential.

With Valor, Highest Potential, Joy and White Angelica

“Since I use this protocol daily, it is easier for me to concentrate on the small (but important) details, I am more focused, my communication with my environment has become more solution-oriented and above all I have much more enthusiasm! But the best thing of all is that I am finally getting to work on my important projects instead of postponing them again and again.”

Here is the protocol for your successful day:

    1) Valor

Valor is known to balance the electrical energy of the body. The powerful blend of:

black spruce (Picea Mariana), camphor wood (Cinnamomum camphor), blue rain fern (Tanacetum annuum), frankincense (Boswelia Carteri) and geranium (Pelargonium graveolens)
pampers you with strengthening and aligning qualities, it supports feelings of courage and self-confidence

    Application:

    • Put a drop of Valor on your left wrist. Place your right wrist on it and hold the two wrists together for a short moment.
    • While holding the pulse points together, inhale again the scent of Valor in deep breaths and enjoy this moment of silence.
    • Once again, visualize your plans for this day, what state of being would you like to experience today? What do you want to achieve today? Set your intentions for this day before your eyes. Focus your mind on balance.

    2) Highest potential

    This mixture of:

Blue cypress (Callitris Introtropica), ylang ylang (Cananga Odorata), jasmine (Jasminum Officinale), cedar (Cedrus Atlantica), geranium (Pelargonium graveolens), Lavender (Lavandula Angustifolia), black spruce (Picea Mariana), frankincense (Boswelia Carteri), Royal Hawaiian Sandalwood (Santalum Paniculatum), Colorado fir (Abies Concolor), Vetiver (Vetiveria zizanoides), cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), davana (Artemisia pallens), kaffir lime (Citrus Hystrix), rose (Rosa damascena), chamomile (Chamomilla recutita), Blue rain fern (Tanacetum annuum), grapefruit (Citrus paradisi), mandarin (Citrus Reticulata), spearmint (Mentha spicata), lemon (Citrus limon) and ocotea (Ocotea quixos)
helps you to discover and live your highest potential and become the most complete version of yourself.

    Application:

    • Apply one drop of Highest Potential over your navel.
    • Then rub your palms and inhale the fragrance for a few breaths.
    • Focus on your day and see with your inner eye how you master the challenges of the day with ease and how you achieve the results that bring a feeling of joy to your heart.

    3) Joy

is a particularly uplifting, luxurious exotic blend that brings joy to the heart. As a perfume, its irresistible fragrance evokes romantic feelings and a longing for closeness. If Joy is sprayed in the room, it has a refreshing effect and lifts the mood. This mixture of:

Bergamot (Citrus Aurantium Bergamia), Ylang Ylang (Cananga Odorata), Geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens), Lemon (Citrus Limon), Coriander (Coriandrum Sativum), Manderine (Citrus Reticulata), Jasmine (Jasminum Officinale), Roman Camomile (Anthemis Nobilis), Palmarosa (Cymbopogon Martini) and Rose (Rosa Damascene)
helps you to get in touch with your heart and to live your life from a place of love.

    Application:
Apply 1 drop of Joy on your heart and let feelings of love and happiness flow from there into your whole body.

    4) White Angelica

White Angelica is a soothing, calming oil blend that reinforces feelings of security and protection. The blend combines oils that were used in ancient times to enhance the aura of the body, which is said to enhance a feeling of strength and endurance. Many use them as protection against negative energies.

    This blend of:

Bergamot (Citrus Aurantium Bergamia), Myrrh (Commiphora Myrrha), Geranium (Pelargonium Graveolens), Sandalwood (Santalum Paniculatum), Ylang-ylang (Cananga Odorata), Coriander (Coriandrum Sativum), Black Spruce (Picea Mariana), Melissa (Melissa Officinalis), Hyssop (Hyssopus Officinalis) and Rose (Rosa Damascena)
gives you protection and strength for the challenges of the day and gives you a pinch of optimism.

    Application:

    • Apply one drop of White Angelica to your left palm, rub both palms clockwise and gently massage your hands over your head, face, shoulders and body.

Resistance and challenges are inevitable as you set about living your dreams. Remember that you have the power to change your life and create the life of your dreams. And these big changes start with how you start the day.

I wish you lots of fun and success with dGary’s protocol for a great day! Feel free to share your experiences with us in the comments below, I would be very pleased.

    Best wishes,

    Eila for Team ENJOY

  • A healthy home to be happy

A healthy home to be happy

Imagine that every time you come home it feels like this, so you would go on holiday: you feel completely well, you breathe deeply, the tension and stress of the day falls away from you, a wonderful feeling of well-being is created in your whole body…

“Your home – your safe haven”

For many people it is the place where they spend most of their time. This is the place where you work, sleep, play, eat, relax and live. That is why it is so important that your home is also a healthy, fragrant, inspiring place.

I personally can no longer imagine a home without essential oils. How is that possible – a “home” where the atmosphere isn’t fragrant? I wouldn’t want that anymore. How about you?

In the last post here I told you about the big international convention that takes place every year in June in Salt Lake City, where thousands of people from all over the world come every year to network and exchange ideas. Just now the invitation for the European convention arrived – this year it is also online. So you can be there from the comfort of your own home.

Why do you need to be there too?

Well, first of all it is very inspiring to hear the many lectures and workshops about a free, self-determined, healthy life with essential oils. Then you have the opportunity to hear Mary speak. And you can only order the special “Convention Oils” if you are registered for the convention! And these are very special ones again this year, and here I would like to tell you about them…

    .

    Garys Light

Gary had his own little laboratory in the attic of his house. There he had all kinds of essential oils that he mixed, tried, tested… Mary still has many small bottles with his handwritten notes on them. He had hardly ever named them – but he had written a few words on the handmade label indicating his intentions for the particular blend.

When Gary showed us one of his new oil mixtures he always opened the bottle first and inhaled the scent. It was as if the oil molecules were talking to him and telling him what to tell us now…

Have you ever tried this? Sit down for this in peace. Take one of your essential oils, open the lid and just smell it. Close your eyes and inhale the scent. Observe what is rising within you: are there sensations? Thoughts? Words? Images?

Mary told us at one of her talks at the convention now that since Gary passed away, she has a lot of different feelings, ideas and thoughts coming up. She and Gary were so closely connected, often had so similar thoughts that she often does not know if these are her own thoughts, feelings and ideas or those of Gary:

“I often feel so inspired, and I know that sometimes the words that leave my mouth are actually his words.” – Mary Young

And so this new essential oil mixture was created. Mary saw the many little bottles of oil with Gary’s notes in them. And that’s when she got the idea for Gary’s Light.

“I was fascinated by the oils that came to my mind, especially when I noticed that most of them have a long history of traditional applications. It is fascinating how the different oils in this blend have such a large rainbow of different active ingredients together, which satisfy physical and emotional needs”. – Mary Young

The aroma of “Garys Light” is soft, smooth and elegant. This magical fragrance illuminates our mind for a deeper perception of truth and insight. Definitely something that can serve us all well in this day and age. Gary’s Light gives a soothing feeling of inner strength, which gives you the feeling of being grounded and protected. This fragrance will lift you up and your heart will fill with joy and peace.

Gary’s Light brings light, inspiration and hope to those people who desperately need it. It helps you to see how you can take care of yourself so that you are well, so that you can come into your power from which you can live and manifest your life mission.

    Gary’s Light consists of:

Garys Light combines the sweet aroma of cinnamon and cistus with the balsamic scent of myrrh and the spicy freshness of lemongrass. Frankincense, Eucalyptus Radiata, Hyssop and Dorado Azul add a subtle – refreshing and uplifting note.

Gary’s Light is a blend of: cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), lemon grass (Cymbopogon flexuosus), myrrh (Commiphora myrrha), eucalyptus radiata (Eucalyptus radiata), sacred frankincense (Boswellia sacra), cistus (Cistus ladaniferus), dorado azul (Hyptis suaveolens), hyssop (Hyssopus officinalis) and petitgrain (Citrus aurantium amara).

Gary’s Light purifies and elevates the atmosphere of the room. The naturally contained molecules Cinema-aldehydes, Alpha-pinenes, Eucalyptol and Geraniol help you to take your lifestyle to the next level, inspired by light and love for yourself, life and humanity.

    Applications

Wear Garys Light as your personal perfume by applying it to your neck, behind your ears and on your wrists. Inhale the fragrance to clear your emotions, purify your energy, calm your mind and lead you into silence and harmonize your body.

You can combine a few drops with some V6 for an uplifting, rejuvenating massage. You can enjoy a few drops in a magical uplifting bath and simply create a light atmosphere in your home by adding a few drops to your diffuser.

A great addition to Gary’s Light are Thieves, Purification, R.C. and ImmuPower. And of course it’s the perfect complement to the official Convention Oil 2020, but we’ll get to that in a moment.

    .

    One Heart

This essential oil blend was created to celebrate the global connection among us oil loving people from around the world. As the name suggests – one heart: we are all in contact and connected with each other in the heart, opening our hearts and dedicating ourselves to the higher good, the health of people.

Gary Young had a big heart for people who live in less fortunate circumstances than he did. It was also important to him to contribute to a strong, free and uplifting new generation that is the future of all of us.

The One Heart label was designed by Anita Perlaza, a young woman who was among the first graduates of the Young Living Academy in Ecuador and is now studying graphic design, because she firmly believes that “if we all connect, if we all work together and stick together, we can make a big difference.

Gary created the Young Living Academy several years ago to serve those who need help. One example is the Academy in Ecuador, right next to the Young Living Farm. There, the children of farm workers and local children receive a good education, regular hot meals, and medical care. One Heart is symbolic of just that: wherever you are, get involved and make each place a little better by being there.

One Heart has a wonderful, enchanting aroma, it smells invitingly sweet and refreshingly spicy.

The basis of One Heart is Valor, which brings forth feelings of self-confidence and harmony. The seductive sweetness of the Ecuadorian Ylang Ylang and the gently spicy Ocotea is mixed with it. The uplifting properties of lemon and lime, the inspiration of Northern Lights black spruce and the fresh energy of green mint round off the flavour.

The One Heart helps you to see the positive in life. It brings you into your center and helps you to connect with your inner spirituality. You will connect confidently with other people with an attitude of compassion, gentleness and service.

The One Heart unites your three centres brain, belly and heart in your heart. This mixture protects you from negativity and connects you to your higher self.

One Heart consists of: Lemon (Citrus limon), Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata), Northern Lights Black Spruce (Picea mariana), Lime (Citrus aurantifolia), Roman Chamomile, Jasmine (Jasminum officinale), Ocotea (Ocotea quixos), Green mint (Mentha spicata), black spruce (Picea marina), blue tansy (Tanacetum annum), camphor (Cinnamomum camphora), geranium (Pelargonium graveolens), frankincense (Boswellia carterii) and coconut oil (Caprylic/capric triglycerides) as carrier oil.

    .

    Cassia

Cassia has a sweet, cinnamon aroma. Cassia is one of those essential oils which is already described in the Bible as a holy anointing oil and was a main ingredient in many temple mixtures:

(…) therefore God, your God, has anointed you with oil of joy like none of your companions. 9 Of myrrh, aloe and cassia thy garments are fragrant; (…) (Psalm 45:8)

Cassia was also a very important essential oil in ancient China and Egypt, and in Chinese tradition it is listed as one of the 50 fundamental medicinal plants.

The essential oil of Cassia is steam distilled from the bark of the Cinnamomum Cassia tree, and has very powerful cleansing properties. The scent of Cassia will chase away your worries and create a feeling of peace and tranquility within you. It has a grounding effect and inspires you to let go of old ballast.

Cassia also belongs to the cinnamon family, but has a very sweet scent compared to cinnamon bark and a much higher content of coumarin and trans-cinnamaldehyde.

In times of self-doubt you can wonderfully re-center yourself with Cassia, strengthen your inner connection with yourself and develop a positive self-perception.

Application: Cassia is one of the hottest essential oils, so it is important to dilute it well with a vegetable oil such as V6 or coconut oil, olive oil, wheat germ oil, etc. because otherwise it can burn the skin! I like to use Cassia on my skin and imagine how everything that blocks me or hurts me inside simply burns away.

In the room it evaporates, it cleans the room atmosphere, creates a sphere of peace and quiet and in your household cleaner it brings an extra freshness and purity kick to surfaces.

    .

    Ecuadorian oregano

Did you know that Ecuadorian oregano is not an oregano in the classical sense, although it has many similarities to oregano in its fragrance and effects?

Ecuadorian oregano grows and is distilled at Young Living’s Finca Botanica Farm in Chongon, Ecuador. It’s a very powerful herb that can be found not only in homes across South America, where grandmothers and herbalists have been using it for centuries.

I remember when Gary Young first distilled this plant and then told us about it with bright, sparkling eyes: he was so excited!

At that time Gary found this bold, frugal herb that produces an amazing amount of essential oil rather by accident. Its scent immediately reminded Gary of oregano, but he found an unusually high amount of carvacrol, gamma terpinene and para-cymene.

Because Ecuadorian oregano is not actually oregano. It is only called so because its scent reminds of oregano. Its essential oil has cleansing properties and is ideal for massage and warm baths (for example, also in combination with Ortho Ease, Ortho Sport or Aroma Sieze). If you love the spicy scent of oregano, and the properties of peppermint, R.C. or Cool Azul, then Ecuadorian oregano is exactly your oil!

Applications: In the Raindrop application oregano can be replaced with the Ecuadorian oregano. It cleans the air of strong odors and musty energies when diffused. Especially in combination with R.C. or eucalyptus it helps you to a purifying, invigorating and energetic attitude to life.

The Ecuadorian oregano is also known under the names: Mexican Mint, Spanish Thyme, Indian Mint, French Thyme, Mexican Thyme, Cuban Oregano, and as 3-in-1 herb. Other Latin names for the same plant are Coleus amboinicus, Coleus aromaticus and Plectranthus aromaticus.

As you can see, a very mysterious herb with many faces…

“The magic and mysteries of essential oils
    can’t be bought,
They belong to whoever discovers them,
who understands them and who knows how to enjoy them”.

On that note, I wish you a wonderful July. Be like a child, discover the wonders of life every day anew and keep them as a souvenir in your loving heart,

  • The fragrance of Australia – eucalyptus oils from head to toe

The fragrance of Australia – eucalyptus oils from head to toe

Among my friends it is no secret – I love eucalyptus! In fact, all three varieties: Eucalyptus Radiata, Eucalyptus Globulus and Eucalyptus Blue. The Eucalyptus Oils Globulus and Radiata are distilled from the leaves of the mighty eucalyptus trees in sunny Australia. Eucalyptus Blue comes from the farm in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

So grab yourself a cold drink, your cuddly koala and make yourself comfortable! It’s time for a nose full of eucalyptus…

Traditionally, eucalyptus is used largely for the healthy respiratory tract, joints and muscles after exercise. The Australian Aborigines also used the scent of eucalyptus to relieve occasional physical and emotional suffering.

Eucalyptus oils are also popular in applications for spiritual transformation. The scent of eucalyptus brings relationships to light. This includes your own relationship to yourself, but also to other people, to your work, to your life mission and to your higher self and the divine.

Eucalyptus helps you look at your patterns that hold you back. And also to recognize your patterns when they appear when you are with your family, when your triggers are pressed.

By becoming aware of your patterns, you can dissolve them, v
change and bring harmony to your relationships.

    Eucalyptus Radiata

Eucalyptus Radiata is also known as “black peppermint”. It contains 60-75% 1.8 cineol. You will notice that Eucalyptus Radiata is similar to the globulus, only slightly milder and less intense. This makes Eucalyptus Radiata more suitable for very sensitive people and small children, for whom the globulus can be a bit too intense and strong.

Where is it come from? Australia

How does it smell? Fresh, pure and slightly citrusy – like a wild orchard after a refreshing spring shower.

How is it distilled? Eucalyptus Radiata is obtained by steam distillation from the leaves of the eucalyptus trees. Did you know that these trees are also called “narrow-leaved peppermint trees”?

Some of my favorite blends that contain eucalyptus radiata are: R.C., Thieves, Raven, Boswelia face cream and in Ortho Ease massage oil.

    Eucalyptus Globulus

Eucalyptus Globulus is also known as “Eucalyptus” or “Blue Gum Tree“. It contains 60-75% 1.8 cineol. This is the strongest of all eucalyptus varieties.

Where does it come from? Australia

How does it smell? Brave, rich and earthy – a warm summer day on the meadow, next to a cool little brook.

How is it distilled? Eucalyptus Globulus is obtained by steam distillation from the leaves of the large, aromatic eucalyptus trees of the Myrtaceae family.

Some of my favourite mixtures in which eucalyptus globulus is found are: R.C. Ortho Ease and Ortho Sport Massage Oil.

    Eucalyptus Blue (Bicostata)

Eucalyptus Bicostata is also known as Eucalyptus Blue, the blue eucalyptus. It contains 1.8 cineoles and a very high proportion of alpha-pinene.

Where does it come from? Ecuador

How does it smell? Herbaceous, woody and inviting – an autumn day hiking in the mountains.

How is it distilled? Eucalyptus Blue is steam distilled from the leaves of the mysterious blue eucalyptus trees of South America.

Some of my favourite blends in which eucalyptus blue is found are: Breathe Again Roll-On.

There are over 700 different species of eucalyptus. These three described above have the most powerful, beneficial effects, and are available to order permanently from the Young Living program. Now I’d like to tell you about a few others too, that can be ordered from time to time for special occasions and that also have great effects.

    Eucalyptus Citriodora

Eucalyptus Citriodora is also known as the “lemon eucalyptus”. It contains 40-80% citronellal and also a very broad spectrum of chemotypes.

Where does it come from? Australia.
But the trees also grow in Guatemala, Colombia, Egypt, South Africa, India and China. The trees of Madagascar contain a very high proportion of phenols. The trees from Brazil contain a high proportion of aldehydes.

Yes, it is actually important where a plant comes from. Depending on where a plant grows, it also contains different chemotypes. Ingenious, isn’t it?

Einige meiner Lieblingsmischungen, in denen Eukalyptus Citriodora zu finden ist, sind: R.C.

    Eucalyptus Dives

Eucalyptus Dives is also known as “Peppermint Eucalyptus”. It contains 35-50% piperitones and 23-30% phellandrene.

It contains 35-50% piperitone and 23-30% phellandrene. It has three chemotypes, which have different uses: CT-cineol, CT-piperitone has a minty scent and CT-phellandrene is traditionally used as an insect repellent.

By the way – I have found, that insects in generall don’t particularly love the smell of eucalyptus. What are your experiences in this field?

    How to apply eucalyptus oils?

Now that we have looked at the Eucalyptus 101, it is time for Eucalyptus 201: the benefits and effects of eucalyptus oils.

Now it gets really interesting: because you can really use eucalyptus from head to toe. Are you ready to go?

A little secret: Although the different eucalyptus oils have very different effects, they can still be used interchangeably.

    Head

    • Take care of your hair: Massage a few drops of Eucalyptus Radiata into your scalp and enjoy the rejuvenating fragrance of your hair.
    • Go on your to-do list: Massage a drop of eucalyptus behind your ears. Let the uplifting aroma inspire your thoughts and projects.
    • Fill up with spa vibes: apply 4-6 drops of Eucalyptus Blue to a warm, steaming washcloth. Spoil yourself from head to toe.

    • Take care of your muscles. Add a few drops of Eucalyptus Globulus to the Relaxation Massage Oil for a relaxing, revitalizing massage.

    Knee

    • For beautiful, supple legs and knees: Make yourself a homemade peeling soap.
    • Re-hydrate and rejuvenate your skin: Add a few drops of Eucalyptus Globulus or Eucalyptus Blue to your favourite body lotion to care for dry, stressed body areas.

Free and unbound – the diffuser blend

Want a little more pep in your step? Combine eucalyptus radiata with the invigorating scents of citronella, blue cypress and spruce.

    Toes

    • Say goodbye to smelly shoes. Make your shoes fragrant by scenting them. Mix some eucalyptus oil with water in a spray bottle and spray it on your stinky shoes if necessary. (In particularly hard cases, it is sometimes necessary to put a pure drop directly into the shoe…)
    • Spoil yourself with a foot wellness of the special kind. Prepare a foot bath with 1 tablespoon of Epsom salt, 1-2 teaspoons of AlkaLime and 10 drops of eucalyptus.
    • “Good night” – Rub a few drops of eucalyptus on the soles of your feet before going to bed. Inhale the soothing fragrance as you cross over into the land of dreams.

    Shooting Stars Diffuser blend

Stuffy air and hot temperatures that make you roll from side to side? Purify the air and make it easier for you to fall asleep with a combination of rosemary, eucalyptus blue and lavender.

  • Dewy spring feelings for your skin

Dewy spring feelings for your skin

Essential oils can work wonders on your skin. There are hundreds of different essential oils to choose from. They smooth out your wrinkles, are excellent for cleansing the skin and are good at supporting scars and scratches…

The key to a great result with essential oils in skin care is the right application. Mix a few drops into your skin cream, into your moisturizer, a skin oil such as jojoba, coconut or argan oil. The main caring essential oils ensure that you feel and look good. Off into spring!

    1.Patchouli

Is an essential oil great for hair and skin care, a new emotional setup and seductive fragrance creations. Patchouli is distilled from the leaves and flowers of the patchouli plant. This earthy-floral oil is often used in perfumes as a top note. Mix it with rose and ylang ylang for a warm yet fresh fragrance.

Did you know that the silk merchants from China put dried patchouli leaves in between their silk goods on their long journeys? This prevented the moths from laying their eggs inside…

The essential oil of PAtchouli has been helping us humans for many centuries to calm us down, ground us and find our inner centre as a pole of strength. Not for nothing was Patchouli the fragrance of the wild 60s.

Add a few drops of patchouli to your daily skin care. You will see how quickly your skin will regenerate, rejuvenate and refine.

    2. Carrot Seeds

Need a refreshment? Just mix carrot seeds in a spray bottle with water with grapefruit and lemon. Spray it on your face for extra moisture!

The essential oil of carrot seeds is distilled from the seeds of wild carrots – a different plant from those whose roots we eat.

The carrot seed oil helps you align your third eye with your root chakra, which helps you develop vision for the future.

Do you feel enslaved, destroyed or do you suffer from the consequences of negative actions? Then the carrot seed is exactly your oil. For only when you have let go of these emotions can you perceive the fullness and comprehensive nature of the Creator. The essential oil of the carrot seed also supports you in grounding and rooting yourself in Mother Earth. She teaches you to honor and appreciate life so that you can live a round and full life.

    3. Sage

The fragrance of sage brings you a fresh breeze and energy, it strengthens the vital centres of your body and cleanses you on all levels. Especially when it comes to habits and patterns that are not for your own good, the essential oil of sage can do you good.

I love to put a few drops of sage in my shampoo. Add a few drops of sage to your pulse points and experience a whole new perspective on life. Distilled from the leaves and flowers of the plant for a clean scent. Use a few drops in a pillow spray and enjoy a quieter night.

Did you know that the name “sage” comes from the Latin “salvia”, which means to heal? Sage has long been used to accompany meditations, rituals and trance journeys, it helps us to surrender to the wisdom of our ancestors and to purify us from those beliefs and habits that no longer serve us.

    4. Tea tree

Tea tree oil is one of the most popular essential oils of today. Due to its skin caring properties it is contained in many skin care and beauty products.

Pamper your skin with a steam facial. Put a few drops of invigorating Tea Tree Oil in a bowl of steaming water, place a towel over your head and inhale. Lean back and relax!

Did you know that tea trees grow all over the world? When people think of Tea Tree, most people think of Australia, but the tree also grows in Guatemala, France, China and the USA.

Many companies don’t write exactly which of the hundreds of varieties of tea tree has been diffused for its essential oil – this creates a lot of confusion and misunderstandings about its effects. Furthermore, tea tree oil is the most frequently adulterated essential oil, along with lavender, frankincense, rose and eucalyptus.

    5. Peppermint

Peppermint is one of the most popular of all essential oils – with an incredible variety of applications. I love to use peppermint for more clarity in the head and an energizing freshness and coolness in the whole body.

Did you know that the name “peppermint” comes from the Latin “mente”, which means “thoughts”? In Greek mythology, there is the story of the nymph Mentha. Pluto desired Mentha, and so she was trampled by his wife Persephone. Pluto then transformed her into a wonderfully fragrant herb, peppermint!

Bring home the spa glow with peppermint. Dilute it with Young Living V-6® for an invigorating massage, enjoy a cooling, refreshing neck massage, or take a sip of energy with a drop of peppermint+ in a liter of water.

    6. Grapefruit

Start the day fresh with grapefruit oil. Grapefruit has a caring and cleansing effect on the skin. So perfect to put a few drops of grapefruit in your body butter and cream or body oil.

Ointment with this moisturizing mixture from head to toe. Or create your refreshing, cleansing good mood peeling with a sugar or salt peeling in which you add a few drops of grapefruit.

Grapefruit is also very special for bad smells – smells that like to get stuck in your nose like rotten potatoes, mouldy food or toilet smells. Take a deep breath of grapefruit to wipe the bad smell from your nose, or make a grapefruit refreshment spray by mixing a few drops of grapefruit with some water in a spray bottle and spray the affected room air fresh again.

    7. Charcoal Bar Soap

Experience cleanliness on a whole new level with the vegan charcoal soap made of activated carbon and orange blossom oil. The activated charcoal removes toxins and dirt and leaves the skin radiantly clean. You can use it to clean and care for your entire body and face.

You can complement the Charcoal Bar Soap with Orange Blossom Facial Wash, Orange Blossom Moisturizer, Lavender Hand & Body Lotion and Tea Tree Oil.

I wish you a fresh start into May,

  • 7 essential oils for deep, restful sleep

7 essential oils for deep, restful sleep

It’s still dark outside. Quiet. Just a slight murmur in the hedge outside my window. The clock says quarter past four. Suddenly I’m wide awake. My head is spinning, my heart is pounding. The pleasantly heavy tiredness with which I can fall asleep so well is no longer there.

I stare at the ceiling with my eyes wide open, while in front of my inner eye I see the disturbing pictures…

The best essential oils for a healthy sleep routine

I love essential oils because they are so great at helping to make everyday life more beautiful and richer. Believe me! There is an essential oil for everything… you just have to find it 🙂

Essential oils soothe the emotions, the emotions of the little boy who is afraid of possible spiders under the blanket, the little girl who is afraid of the monsters under the bed or the big man who even at night still rolls the problems of the day in his head… they can even help the exhausted mother and wife to go through the list of 1001 to-dos for the following day over and over again.

In summary: essential oils are the secret tip of life.

Here are my 7 favourite oils for a good sleep:

    1.Lavender

Oh yes, this essential oil probably won’t surprise you. Lavender is very well known for its calming effects on the body.

Lavender not only promotes restful sleep, but also leaves your skin velvety soft and your laundry smelling delicious (without the health-damaging side effects of conventional fabric softeners).

    2. Frakincense

Besides lavender, incense is one of my most used essential oils. Incense helps you to balance your emotions, promotes deep sleep, calms the mind and supports the body in its regeneration process.

Especially when it comes to dark dreams or thought carousels and fears, incense can do a lot of good.

    3. Cedarwood

Cedar has a wonderfully balsamic, masculine scent. The scent of cedar strengthens the healthy function of the pineal gland, which is responsible for the melatonin in the body – the sleep hormone…

Cedar has a very woody smell. Especially in combination with lavender it smells heavenly. You can diffuse it, rub it on your feet, comb your hair…

    4. Ylang Ylang

Ylang-ylang means “flower of blossoms.” Historically, the ylang ylang flowers were used to decorate the bed of newlyweds. The essential oil of Ylang Ylang helps to balance the male-female energies and promotes inner peace.

Diffuse Ylang Ylang before going to bed, spread it in your hair or sprinkle it on your bed sheets.

    5. Marjoram

Marjoram was known by the Romans as the “herb of happiness” and by the Greeks as “the joy of the mountains”. The essential oil of marjoram is very soothing, relaxing for the nerves and relaxing for the muscles.

Before going to bed, I prefer to put a few drops of marjoram on my neck, just below the hairline.

    6. Vetiver

As vetiver is distilled from the roots of the vetiver grass, it has a very earthy and rich smell. This is also a great essential oil for sleeping, as its fragrance is earthy, soothing and stabilizing. It may take a while to get used to the scent of vetiver, as it is very unusual for most of us. If vetiver smells too earthy to you, you can mix it well with a flower oil, a citrus oil, especially lavender or bergamot.

    7. Roman chamomile

Mothers have been using Roman chamomile for centuries to calm their children – and with success! This is a wonderful essential oil for restlessness, nervousness and agitation. I love chamomile – it is a wonderful essential oil for all ages.

I like to rub the chamomile on my stomach, enjoy a soothing room atmosphere by diffusing it in the diffuser or spray it on my pillowcase to fall asleep with a nose full of chamomile…

How to use essential oils for sleep?

If you want to use essential oils for sleep, there are essentially 2 different methods of using them:

    In the external application:

For children, I would dilute 1-3 drops of essential oil with a teaspoon of V6, olive oil, coconut oil or any other vegetable oil.

For myself, I prefer to use most essential oils pure a, or diluted 1:1 with a vegetable oil. To find out how you react to an essential oil, you can apply a drop to the inside of your upper arm. There the skin is very sensitive and you will soon notice if you can handle a specific oil well.

I apply most essential oils for sleeping on the neck, on the soles of the feet, on the wrists, on the stomach and chest area. With the oil scent that remains in my hands, I then do a small hand inhalation: pause for 1-2 minutes, close your eyes, fold your hands around your nose and inhale the scent. This is immediately soothing and pleasant.

    Aromatic application:

Take a drop of essential oil in the palms of your hands for aromatic application, rub it 3 times in the original sense and then fold your hands over your nose. Inhale, take several deep breaths in and out and feel the fragrance. Another favorite way to use the fragrance is to diffuse it. You can diffuse most Young Living essential oils by your bedside all night long. You’ll sleep wrapped in the soothing, soothing fragrance.

I myself began my journey with Young Living essential oils many years ago with the Starter Kit. It includes the 10 most important and popular essential oils of aromatherapy with a diffuser! I can really recommend this. Find the aroma expert of your choice here, and ask him or her to help you order your oils and diffuser. There is no better time to start than now!

  • Strengthen your immune system

    Strengthen your immune system

One of the main reasons why I love essential oils so much is because they help our bodies function in a healthy way. They are the “life force” of plants and contain many ingredients that strengthen the general wellness and health.

With a healthy lifestyle (the essential lifestyle) you are on the offensive, you stay healthy and strong right from the start, instead of staying on the defensive and trying to get well all the time.

Here I share the 5 possibly most important ways you can strengthen your immune system.

But before we turn to the essential oils that will help you find your way to more wellness, let’s take a quick look at the simple lifestyle choices you can make to get into your immune system.

    1. What do you eat?

Everything you put in your body either promotes or prevents your health. So take a closer look at what you eat. Many of them may contain artificial chemicals or GMO’s. The more toxins and chemicals you add to your body, the more your immune system has to fight against them and will become weaker and weaker over time. All of your body systems will become weaker and weaker.

There are several ways in which you can strengthen your immune system through your diet:

Eat as much pesticide free (organic, Demeter, …) as possible,
Think in fruits, vegetables, fresh food,
Take a closer look at the ingredients,
Remove as much sugar from your diet as possible.

    2. How’s your bowel?

“‘All diseases begin in the intestines” – Hippocrates. It is easy to overlook the health of the gastrointestinal tract, even though there are more than 10 times more health-related bacteria in the intestine than anywhere else. They protect us from infections, support our metabolism and promote healthy digestion and excretion.

Your digestive system could use a little more support, believe me. All our digestive systems could use a little more support, especially in times when a strong immune system is important. Because of all the toxins we are all exposed to every day, our intestines have a hard time developing their full potential and working at their full power.

The majority of people in modern civilization have insufficiently good bacteria, an abundance of debilitating bacteria and too little diversity.

    This can have different reasons:

    • Unfavorable diet,
    • Drugs,
    • Chronic stress,
    • Environmental pollutants
    • Sleep deficit
    • usw.

How can you additionally build and strengthen your intestine?

Supply your intestines with probiotics daily. I love Young Living’s Life 9 (builds up the good bacteria in the gut).
Support yourself with enzymes. I love Young Living’s Detoxymes, Essentialzymes, and Essentialzyme-4 (helps you digest food and better absorb nutrients).
Strengthen your body with vitamins that are highly bioavailable (I love Young Living’s NingXia Red Juice for this).
For children, there are MightyVites, MightyZymes, and MightyPro (probiotics).

    3. Sleep is one of the most important building blocks for a healthy body and mind

Getting enough sleep every night helps the body systems to rest, recover and regenerate to be able to function properly again. Without sufficient sleep, the body systems become tired and exhausted. It is impossible for the immune system to function at full strength without sufficient sleep.

Would you like to sleep better? Essential oils can help you very effectively. One of my favorite treatments is to put a drop of incense on the back of my neck, rub incense on my hair and feet, and put Peace & Calming in the diffuser. The essential oil of cedar also supports deep, restful sleep, as it helps the body to produce melatonin naturally. These essential oils help you to sleep relaxed and deeply: 7 essential oils for deep sleep

If you need extra support, I can highly recommend the Sleep Essence and the Immupro – these are specifically designed to strengthen both your healthy sleep and your healthy immune system.

    4. Reduce the pollutants in your environment

If your immune system has to constantly fight off toxins, it may not be able to function at full strength. Everything from the body lotions you put on your body to the detergents you use to wash your clothes may be full of toxins.

Here are some of the ingredients that you better leave out in the future:

    • Sodium Laurel Sulphates
    • Propylene Glycol
    • Phthalates
    • Parabens
    • DEA/TEA/MEA
    • Tricolosan (hand disinfection products)
    • Artificial colours and pigments
    • Artificial fragrances
    • Spray-on sun protection
    • Benzone
    • Air freshener (formaldehydes)

All these things – nutrition, healthy intestines, sleep and toxins are important building blocks for good health.

    5. Wellness for body, mind and soul

Essential oils are the missing link that completes the wellness in your life. They are fragrant strengthening, harmonizing and wellness for your whole life.

    1. Thieves

Sure – Thieves?! Thieves almost explains himself. You get Thieves with your starter kit, Thieves is one of those oils that belong in every household. You can diffuse it 24/7, there are Thieves for internal use, you can rub it on your feet…

Thieves is a mixture of lemon, clove, cinnamon bark, rosemary and eucalyptus. A particularly beneficial application with Thieves is to move up and down along the spine with the Thieves RollOn.

    2. Oregano

Oregano is not only super strengthening, but also conveys a feeling of security and self-confidence (hello emotions!).

Oregano is a very hot essential oil, so it can burn if you apply it undiluted to your skin. Essential oils are diluted with a vegetable oil like olive or coconut oil. Water would increase the burning sensation. So watch out!

You can also use Oregano+ in your aroma kitchen. This is one of my personal favourite applications!

Young Living also has a dietary supplement, InnerDefense, and oregano is one of the main oils, among other things.

    3. Rosemary

Rosemary has a very high proportion of the 1,8-cineole (eucalyptol). I’ll leave you to do your own research on what they can do. According to an old legend, rosemary originally had white flowers. However, they turned red after Mother Mary put her robe over a rosemary bush. Since the time of the ancient Greeks (1,000 B.C.), rosemary has been used in smoking to clean rooms.

Rosemary not only strengthens you, but also helps to clear your thoughts, supports your focus and brings a breath of fresh air into your thoughts.

    4. Cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg

Cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg are a power trio. Another power trio is incense, lemon and caraway.

And not to forget – move! Make sure that your lungs move well every day. Breathing exercises, movements that slightly increase your breathing, bouncing… this helps to prevent pathogens that might have entered your lungs from settling there and multiplying.

    Stay strong, healthy and joyful!

  • The fragrance of Love…

    The fragrance of Love…

Every year on 14th of february the church celebrates the commemoration of St. Valentine (Valentine’s Day). It is also celebrated worldwide as Lovers’ Day.

Valentine’s Day is that special day when lovers all over the world make time for their loved ones (it could as well be that your loved one at the moment is yourself!) It reminds us to celebrate our love, to cherish, nourish and grow our love.

I would like to take this wonderful day as an opportunity to write about love. The love for yourself, which secrets can help you to live long lasting and fulfilling relationships, and of course how you can live and create your love with essential oils…

Classic commerce “sells” Valentine’s Day as “couples’ day.” I’m writing about Love Day here.

    • This can mean your self-love for you – why not celebrate this special day to love yourself?
    • This can also mean for you to spend a day of love with your husband/wife/partner.
    • But it can also mean to spend a special day of love with several favourite people. There is not only one way to love and there is not only one person to be loved in your live.

So be creative, take some inspiration here with you and create this February 14th in the name of this wonderful energy: Love.

Love is a pure and radiant flame. Nothing can be greater than love. Love is life and life itself is a spontaneous flow of nectar and delight.

Essential oil of love 1 – ROSE

Rose is the plant of love par excellence. No other plant is as much a symbol of love as roses. The strong, sweet scent of roses is very romantic and arouses feelings of love and passion.

The essential oil of the rose has been used for hundreds of years for emotional balance. It stimulates and opens your heart chakra, allowing you to feel and receive unconditional love. Love is not about owning something or someone. True love is expressed when you give yourself completely.

Even the application of small amounts of this precious essential oil can help you release fears that are related to intimacy, trust and possessiveness. It will also help you to integrate the male and female energy within you, which is an essential process to become balanced and “whole” from within.

    Application:

    a) If you are alone on Valentine’s Day this year, take a drop of rose essential oil, apply it to your heart, inhale the fragrance and feel the love within you, the love that constantly gushes from your heart. Feel this love enveloping and fulfilling you.

If you feel like it, treat yourself to a rose bath or a full body massage.
For a full bath, mix a few drops of rose with an emulsifier, place candles in your bathroom, turn off the light, sprinkle rose petals over the bath water…
For a self-love full-body massage, warm a small amount of fragrance-free carrier oil (coconut oil, wheat germ oil, or Young Living’s V6), add 5 drops of rose essential oil and stroke and massage your body with loving movements. Take time for yourself. Look at yourself with loving eyes, touch yourself with a loving touch.

    b) When you are with one or more partners/loved ones, create your own little ritual: each person applies a drop of rose essential oil to the heart center of the other person. Then stay together for a few minutes in silence and inhale the fragrance. Imagine love flowing between your hearts.
For a very special experience, give each other a rose massage: warm up some massage oil (see above), add about 5 drops of rose and let yourself be pampered (if you are more than 2, a 4 or 6 hand massage can be divine).

    Who was Saint Valentine?

Valentin was a poor priest who lived in anti-Christian Rome in the third century. Valentin married many people and gave them flowers from his garden. The marriages which were made by him were always under a good star.

Valentin also married soldiers, who had to remain unmarried according to imperial orders, according to Christian ceremonial. Presumably this was the reason why Valentin was beheaded in Rome on February 14th, 269 by order of Emperor Claudius II and thus became a martyr. Saint Valentine is considered the patron saint of lovers, fiancées and beekeepers.

In modern times, people are separating as quickly as perhaps never before. Few people still manage to live long term, fulfilling love relationships. But that the hope for love has not died despite many disappointments and separations, shows the still popular Valentine’s Day. A day of love, of romance, of intimacy…

You follow the love of your heart,
then your lifes happiness will follow you.

Another favourite oil for the day of love is:

Essential oil of love 2 – GERANIUM

It has a sweet, flowery fragrance, very similar to that of the rose. Most people cannot distinguish the fragrance of the essential oil of geranium from that of the rose – therefore the geranium is a cheaper alternative to the rose. The essential oil of the geranium, like that of the rose, is also wonderful for the skin, can be worn well as a perfume and can strengthen feelings of closeness, love, connection and passion.

The fragrance of geranium essential oil can help you release negative emotions and memories. It helps you to rise above your fear of loss, fear of love and commitment. It shows you how to accept yourself in love. For just as we love ourselves, we can also love others. The deeper you can love yourself, the deeper you can love others.

    Application:

Let yourself be inspired by her scent and create your own personal love ritual with geranium. Maybe a perfume, maybe a head massage, maybe in a moment of self-love apply it to your stomach or heart area…

The true origin of Valentine’s Day

The true origin of Valentine’s Day goes back much further than the third century and Priest Valentine. In the middle of February the mating season of the birds begins, spring awakes. This is reason enough to celebrate!

In the Roman Empire, 14 February was consecrated to the goddess Juno (Juno as the protector of marriage and family). Both Juno and the women were given flowers. Young girls went to the Juno Temple on this high feast day to get a love oracle for the right choice of partner.

The 14/15 February was also the feast of the she-wolf, the so-called Luperkalien took place. This was a festival where the sexual rituals for the first menstruation of girls were held and marriages were held perferably.

    If you feel that you can’t love yourself;
imagine you’re walking in a garden with many, many flowers.
    Choose one and walk closer.
    Admire its beauty,
    smell her,
and feel, like the beauty, the purity,
    the fragrance of this flower
passes into you and becomes part of you.
Now extend your love from the blossom to yourself.

Essential oil of love 3 – NEROLI

Neroli, the orange blossom, has a wonderful floral fragrance with a touch of citrus. In ancient Egypt, Neroli was popular for its transformative effect on the mind, body and spirit. Neroli essential oil is also very popular in connection with love, passion and closeness. In the past, its fresh petals were sprinkled on the bedding of newlyweds and the bed sheets were sprinkled with its fragrance.

Neroli brings you into the now, into the present moment, out of the musings of the past or the fears of the future. To be able to stand fully in your power, you must be anchored in the present moment.

Neroli essential oil supports you in your self-knowledge, helps you to bring back to yourself the parts of yourself that you may have lost in the past, future or on other levels and helps you to open your heart and let go of feelings of powerlessness, helplessness and self-blockage.

    Applications

With Neroli in the diffuser you can create a wonderful atmosphere for the day of love in your home.
Just like rose and geranium essential oils, Neroli essential oil is very skin caring and incredibly beneficial in a massage, a bath or a small scented meditation by hand inhalation.

Living long-term, fulfilling relationships is not easy for most people. Most of us did not have inspiring role models in our parents/guardians of childhood for how relationships succeed.

These are some of the factors I have found to be very essential and important in interpersonal relationships. Feel free to share in the comments below what your personal secrets are for successful partnership/relationships!

    Trust

Trust is the foundation stone in every relationship. Trust is a process measured by deeds, not words.

Every time your partner keeps one of his promises, even if it is only a small thing like cleaning out the dishwasher or taking out the garbage, it builds on the trust of a common future with you. And vice versa – every time you stand by your word, you build on your shared future.

All happiness, all ecstasy of life lies at your feet,
Now that you have learned to truly love yourself.

Essential oil of love 4 – JASMIN

The essential oil of jasmine is a very old secret recipe for nights full of intimacy, closeness and passion. The scent of jasmine awakens euphoria and happiness in you. Jasmine is definitely one of the top 3 aphrodisiac essential oils. The flowery, exotic scent is said to be able to arouse hot feelings of passion and desire.

Through Jasmine you can gain a deeper understanding of sexual energy, release deep-seated fears in this area such as fear of intimacy, feelings of inferiority and being used. Jasmine brings you in flow with the divine nature of sexuality and shows you how to embrace the exchange of energy that happens when two people unite.

    applications:

Jasmine essential oil can also be used alone in a beautiful self-love ritual. Or even with partners/loved ones together. Simply dilute it with some carrier oil and apply it to the spiritual heart and erogenous zones.

If you celebrate with a partner of the opposite sex, the male part can anoint the woman lovingly with jasmine, and the female part can anoint the man with sandalwood. Especially on the intimate parts of the body this can be a very special experience.

But beware! If essential oils are to be applied near sensitive skin areas, always dilute with a carrier oil – otherwise it can get very “hot” and burn quite a lot, which can have the opposite effect to the desired one…

    Communication

The “Communication Sandwich” is a very helpful way to communicate. Tell your partner something that you value very much in him or her or for which you are grateful. Then say the things that annoy you, hurt you or make you angry. Then say something positive again. Like a sandwich.

If your partner does not feel attacked, he or she will be more motivated to respond to you, to listen to you and to act in your interest.

You can feel true love when you realize, that love lives not in your mind but in your heart. Imagine the person you love in your heart and infuse him or her with your hearts love.

Essential oil of love 5 – SANDELWOOD

Sandalwood is also one of those essential oils that can inspire loving feelings and actions. With its slightly tart, rather masculine scent, it is one of the favourite essential oils of men.

The scent of sandalwood awakens your sensuality, invites peace and serenity and promotes deep relaxation. This state allows a higher intuition and awareness, especially when you are learning to open your heart and live in unconditional love.

    Applications

You can inhale sandalwood essential oil and with its help go into a state of pleasant relaxation, feel the stress of the day draining away and fully engage with your loved one.

If you are with someone of the opposite sex, the woman can anoint the man with sandalwood, the man can anoint the woman with jasmine. This can be done in a mindful, meditation-like gentle massage, in which the active partner looks at the partner with loving eyes and loves with loving touches, and the passive partner practices opening up completely and giving himself/herself to the other.

    Commitment – Freedom

Happiness lies somewhere in the middle between commitment and freedom. It is important to leave the other free. Nobody likes the feeling of being locked up and confined. Respect your partner as he is. With his ideas, needs and wishes. And don’t forget to get involved with your ideas, needs and wishes too.

Commitment is not meant here in the sense that one can constrict the other or put into one’s own template of the “dream – man” or the “dream – woman”. Hereby it is meant not to run away at the first inconvenience. Commit to each other that whatever life may bring, you will master it together and move forward together.

Feel that your source is pure love. Meet all people in your life from this place of love. Take every action in your life from this place of love too.

Essential oil of love 6 – YLANG YLANG

Just between you and me, this one is one of my absolute favorites. If you’re looking for a beguiling, seductive aphrodisiac, you might be looking for ylang ylang. This sensual essential oil can deepen and intensify your sexual encounter and give you wings. At the same time Ylang Ylang has an emotional balancing effect and simply puts you in a good mood.

Ylang Ylang has long been known and loved for balancing male and female energy to achieve a state of harmony. Ylang Ylang is also very helpful for the balance between head and heart. Ylang Ylang helps you to get back into balance, on all levels.

The fragrance of ylang ylang essential oil can help you release negative emotions such as anger, possessiveness and low self-esteem. Positive emotions such as self-confidence, self-love and spiritual awareness will become more aware of how we can live our lives for our highest good and that of all the people in our lives – possibly something different from what we have learned so far will be strengthened by Ylang Ylang.

    Applications

    a) For your personal self-love ritual every morning: get yourself a good brush. Massage your scalp with 2-3 drops of Ylang Ylang every morning, and then pamper yourself, your hair and your scalp with extensive brushing (I prefer to use natural hair brushes).

    b) Mix 2 drops of Ylang Ylang with 2 drops of sandalwood to create a massage experience that your partner will probably never forget…

Love is a verb, not a noun

It is so easy to lose sight of love in everyday life and let negativity take over. By expressing your love to your loved ones again and again with small (or sometimes even bigger) gestures, it will grow in your heart. We all are the most wonderful version of ourselves when we feel loved. Aren’t we?

So if you want to experience many more happy years with your loved ones, make sure that they feel loved. Because then they will bloom and blossom and you will love them even more…

You are here on earth to experience love.
When you see, look through eyes of love.
When you hear, hear through loving ears.
When you feel, feel with your loving heart.

Essential oil of love 7 – CLARY SAGE

Clary sage is one of those essential oils that you either love or hate. With its herbal, woody scent, not everyone loves it. But for all those who get along with clary sage, it has very powerful, positive effects. Clary Sage is a euphoric essential oil that strengthens your creativity and inspiring thoughts.

It supports and strengthens women in transitions that affect their bodies, sexuality and relationships.

Take this into your love nest and WOW!

    Common values

If the basic values do not match, you have difficult years ahead of you. So first clarify for yourself, what are your most important values? And then exchange them. For example, if your top priority is “honesty” and your partner doesn’t even have it on his list, it might be a good idea to talk about it.

Don’t try to change the world. You won’t succeed.
Try to love the world, and you’ll see, it is changed.
    Forever changed by your love.

Essential oil of love 8 – LAVENDER

The essential oil of lavender supports relaxation, so that if you are stressed or tired, you can get back into a festive mood and let go of stress and all that you don’t need on a day like this.

    Applications

Evaporate a few drops in the diffuser or treat yourself to a relaxing footbath with lavender to get in the mood for the night of love.

By the way: love goes through the stomach… especially in combination with the love spell chocolate and aphrodisiacal essential oils. So go ahead, find a recipy for chocolate and infuse it with some of those essential oils for love…

There are many customs associated with Valentine’s Day. The best thing is to get creative and come up with something beautiful and suitable for you. Nevertheless, I would like to share some customs with you here, maybe they can inspire you 🙂

With the date of the feast, the custom arose in Rome, similar to the May customs, that young, unmarried men could draw one from a number of slips of paper with the name of an unmarried woman on it. The couples drawn by lot went through the city together and some are said to have fallen in love with each other in this way. In this way the older Roman customs mixed with the story of the Christian martyr and flowed into later society.

If you ever dare to fight hate,
there’s only one weapon more powerful than hate:
    Love

Essential oil of love 9 – SENSATION

Sensation is a blend of essential oils that help you to discover and live your sensuality. This is the essential oil to pamper your senses. With Sensation you can enjoy the present moment even better, you can respond to your partner (or yourself) even more consciously and sensitively. Sensation opens your senses.

Sensation is a mixture of coriander, ylang ylang, bergamot, jasmine and geranium. This is a blend created by Gary Young to support love, affection, tenderness and closeness.

    Applications

If you make yourself beautiful and take care of yourself on this Valentine’s Day to celebrate the day properly, you could treat yourself to a pampering and seductive peeling while taking a shower, for example. Just take this recipe here: https://oetq.net/vanilla-limetten-peeling/ and replace the essential oil Stress Away with Sensation or one of the other oils described here!

In the Middle Ages the custom arose that men who wanted to get married would bring a bouquet of flowers to their beloved as early as possible in the morning. According to popular tradition, a girl would marry the first man she saw on Valentine’s Day. In England, it was the custom to send anonymous love letters on Valentine’s Day, while in France, Valentine and Valentine were determined by lot, who then lived a kind of betrothal for a year. The tradition of celebrating Valentine as the patron saint of lovers first appeared in France, Belgium and England in the Middle Ages. The “Valentine greetings” are first documented in the 14th century.

If your thoughts trouble you, give them your love.
If your feelings trouble you, offer them your love.
In your love you will find peace. True, deep, inner peace.

Essential oil of love 10 – LADY SCLAREOL

Are you now confused and unsure which of these essential oils you should use? Then perhaps this is yours; Lady Sclareol. Also an essential oil blend created by Gary Young, an intoxicating blend of geranium, coriander, vetiver, orange, clary sage, bergamot, ylang ylang, sandalwood, Spanish sage, jasmine, blue spruce, spearmint and hinoki.

    Applications

Lady Sclareol appeals to both men and women… apply a few drops on your skin and let the night of love begin.

In the old days, Valentine’s Day was considered an unlucky day for cattle. …so they were not allowed to work on that day. February 14th was also the day of the great feasts of sailors, guilds, guilds and brotherhoods. Thus the guilds in the large Hanseatic cities met on Valentine’s Day for a joint friendship meal. Allegedly, the actual carnival season with big balls, artists’ and masked festivities also began with this day.

I wish you and your loved ones a wonderful, fragrant day of love, please share in the comments below how you have celebrated this year’s day of love. I would be very happy to read from you!

    With fragrant greetings,
